Rooted & Radient Retreat for Teens

The Rooted & Radiant Teen Retreat at the Museum for Black Girls is a day dedicated to uplifting, inspiring, and celebrating our next generation of leaders. This transformative experience is designed specifically for teen girls to explore their confidence, creativity, and wellness in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment.

Through interactive workshops, inspiring conversations, and hands-on activities, participants will gain tools to feel grounded in their identity (“rooted”) and shine boldly in their brilliance (“radiant”). Local creatives, entrepreneurs, and wellness practitioners will lead sessions on topics like self-expression, self-care, entrepreneurship, and embracing your unique gifts.

What to Expect:

  • Engaging workshops on confidence, creativity, and wellness

  • Interactive beauty and self-care sessions

  • Creative arts and hands-on activities

  • Inspiring conversations with community leaders and role models

  • Light breakfast and refreshments provided

This retreat is more than an event — it’s a celebration of the power, resilience, and joy of young Black girls. By the end of the day, every participant will leave feeling more connected, confident, and ready to shine.
